I didn't realize Trump's apartments were low rent enough for the welfare cases to be there. I always thought it was an upscale place.

1977 I moved to San Francisco out of college. Entry level job at the old Crocker Bank. I rented a nice 1 br. Saved my money and in a few years bought a house in the Avenues, a nice, quiet, safe, middle class neighborhood. If you had any decent job you could do that then and if you wanted a job and were willing to work you could find one. Sold up and left in retirement but what is sad is ALL my friends kids and grandkids are leaving too. They are medical professionals, engineers, smart useful young people and they are leaving. Only illegals, welfare bums, and a few very rich people left - a classic Third World hellhole.

I moved to CA in 1970 and it was beautiful back then. A day spent in LA was heaven. The last time I drove to LA was almost 15 years ago (I only went to LAX) and it started to look bad back then. I will never ever go there again.
